The best seats in the house
By choosing a Season Ticket, you will have the first access to the best seats for your selected performance date. Single tickets for all 2009 Main Stage productions go on sale from 1 December 2008. If you subscribed in 2008, your 2009 renewal will go straight to the front of the queue, with an exclusive booking period until Tuesday 14 October. New Season Ticket applications will be processed after this date, in strict order of receipt.
Back Stage experiences
To enhance your theatre experience, we offer a number of ways for you to find out more about each of our productions, including:
Free Briefings – held in the week prior to each production at The Wharf. These informal sessions feature guest speakers including the directors, actors, designers and playwrights giving insights into each play.
Night with the Actors – an opportunity to hear the cast discuss the play and answer audience questions, following a performance in each season.

Discounted tickets
Purchase a Season Ticket of six plays or more to access special SeasonTicket Holder prices. Discounted Season Tickets are also available for preview packages, concession cardholders and under 30s.
Sydney Theatre Company Card

Flexibility
Choose a Season Ticket that works for you. In 2009, we’ve opened up every performance (excluding previews and Saturday evenings*) to Standard, Concession and Under 30 ticket prices. Simply select a date and time for each production that fits around your life and in your calendar.
* Due to popular demand and limited capacity, we will be charging a premium rate for Saturday Evening Season Ticket packages.
Quarterly magazine
Season Ticket Holders are sent our free quarterly magazine, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the work of the Company, as well as special offers and news of upcoming events. In addition you can sign up to receive our monthly email newsletter by providing your email address on your booking form.
Discounted parking
When you purchase a Season Ticket, you also have the opportunity to reserve and enjoy discounted rates for parking at Towns Place Car Park – perfect for shows at The Wharf and Sydney Theatre.
Easy payment options
When you select your 2009 Season Package and additional tickets for special events, you can choose to pay half now and the rest in February 2009.

When you purchase a Season Ticket, you have the opportunity to pre-purchase discounted vouchers for our informative theatre programs.
Discounted tickets for friends
Purchase a Season Ticket and you can pre-book additional seats for 2009 Main Stage productions for
friends and family at Season Ticket Holder prices (excluding A Streetcar Named Desire).
More flexibility
We understand that life doesn’t always go according to plan. Should your plans change during the year, you can swap your tickets free of charge* for another performance (of the same play) if seats are available.
* Your first exchange per play is free of charge. Subsequent exchanges incur a $7 fee.
