Melbourne Auditions for Spring Awakening

We are looking for singers between 18 - 24 years old to audition for Spring Awakening.  

Auditions will be held at Centrestage, 15 Albert Street, East Brunswick, Melbourne.

Open auditions on Monday 3 August & Tuesday 4 August 10am – 2pm.  No appointments given in advance, just come along and register on the day.

Agent auditions on Wednesday 5 August – by appointment only.  

Recalls on Thursday 6 August & Friday 7 August.

For your first audition you should prepare one contemporary song.

VERY IMPORTANT:  Please bring with you sheet music plus photo & CV.  Backing tracks, accompaniment by guitar and singing A Capella is not recommended.

On 3 and 4 August the auditions will be held in two studios simultaneously.  In one studio there will be Robert Gavin, Musical Director and a pianist. In the another studio there will be Mark Grentell, Assistant Director & Serena Hill, Casting Director and a pianist.  

For the recalls on 6 & 7 August there will be one room and the director Geordie Brookman will join to work with Robert Gavin, Mark Grentell and Serena Hill.

It is recommended that you are available for recalls later in the week.  You will be notified of a recall on the day you audition.
