STC OPEN DAY - Saturday 1 November 2008

 On Saturday 1 November, Sydney Theatre Company threw open the doors of The Wharf and Sydney Theatre as part of its first ever Open Day. The day was a overwhelming success, with over 4000 Sydneysiders heading down explore the process of making theatre.

The Wharf is the engine room of STC, where we do everything from building the sets and sewing the costumes to rehearsingand developing the productions you see on stage. Sydney Theatre, which is managed year-round by STC, is a state-of-the-art redevelopment linking Walsh Bay’s working history with its cultural present.
