Visiting The Wharf is a great Sydney experience, but being a
part of it is even more rewarding. There are lots of ways to become
involved; to help us out, join old friends, or meet new ones.

Pier Group
Since 1986, the Pier Group has raised funds for STC through
lively, entertaining and sometimes outrageous fundraising events.
The group's enthusiasm and generosity have supported many behind
the scenes projects including establishing an Archives Department
and STC Library, the lift for wheelchair access, the development
new Australian playwriting, Sydney Theatre Green Room fit-out,
Wharf 2 Dressing Rooms, Rehearsal Rooms air-conditioning, and even
for a shiny new STC truck!
Come and enjoy the fun whilst helping the Company realise these
important projects. Email piergroup@sydneytheatre.com.au to register you
interest in these events.
Special thanks must go to our Pier Group Committee Members: Anne
Schofield (Chair), Peggy Carter, Eve Heath, Graham Jennings,
Richard Lyle and Virginia Pearce and also to all of you who support
their many fundraising efforts.
Matinee
Club
Perhaps you attend our mid-week matinee performances on your own,
or would like to make the acquaintance of your fellow Season Ticket
Holders. The STC Matinee Club is a wonderful way to join old
friends, or make new ones at our Sydney Theatre matinee
performances.
If you've selected as part of your Season Ticket, you'll be
invited to join us one hour prior to the performance for
complimentary refreshments. This is your chance to meet like-minded
theatre-goers and compare notes about the Season. Contact Box
Office for more details.
