STC Ed is pleased to offer a series of exceptional one-day Professional Learning sessions for teachers in 2010.

Each session is designed to offer both beginning and experienced teachers a range of practical techniques and strategies to invigorate your work with students presented by leading theatre practitioners.

Verbatim Theatre

With Alana Valentine

Our Verbatim Theatre workshop is designed to assist you in developing authentic experiences with your senior students in this new area of study. This workshop will explore the complex process of collecting interviews, accounts and transcripts, through to crafting them together into captivating theatre. Dive into this new HSC topic with celebrated playwright Alana Valentine, whose verbatim plays Run Rabbit Run and Parramatta Girls both appear on the current HSC Drama syllabus.
