It is well established that thoughtful use of the drama strategy Readers’ Theatre can improve children’s reading and deep understanding of texts.

This half-day workshop will incorporate a range of scripts based on contemporary literary texts to examine the potential of Readers’ Theatre in primary classrooms. It will also look at strategies to help children write their own Readers’ Theatre scripts. Come prepared to have fun!
