In June this year, and for the very first time, STC Ed will have its own Rough Draft, focused on the development of a new work created specifically for families and young audiences.

Director and creator, Luke Kerridge, will collaborate with playwright Finegan Kruckemeyer to develop an adaptation of Reinhardt Jung’s exquisite and magical children’s book; Bambert’s Book of Missing Stories. Joined by a cast of actors and a tiny, bald puppet named Bambert, the team will breathe theatrical life into Jung’s haunting tale about isolation, imagination and the enlivening power of art.

To catch a glimpse of the team’s work in progress, join us for a free one-off showing at the conclusion of the week on Saturday 5th June at 5pm, in Wharf 2. At this event you will learn how Luke and Finegan used the week, hear them talk about the discoveries they have made and view extracts of the material generated.

Tickets are free for Rough Drafts, but we do recommend booking in advance by calling the STC Box Office on (02) 9250 1777 or clicking here.
