Sydney Theatre - Transport

Circular Quay railway station, bus and ferry terminus is the closest public transport hub. The Wharf and Sydney Theatre are a brisk 15 minute walk from Circular Quay. Sydney buses operate two bus routes – 431 and 433 – which stop at the top of George Street in Millers Point, a 5 minute walk to The Wharf and Sydney Theatre.

New Night Bus Service

The State Government has introduced a new evening bus service linking Hickson Road with Town Hall Station via Wynyard. Route 998 runs from 9pm to 4.30am every Friday and Saturday night. Buses run every 30 minutes and there is a bus stop outside The Wharf at Pier 4/5.

WALSH BAY MATINEE SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE

From June 2009, Sydney Theatre Company will operate two free shuttle buses to transport patrons to and from our matinee performances at The Wharf and Sydney Theatre on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The shuttle service will commence one-and-a-half hours prior to each matinee performance and continue on a loop up to 15 minutes prior to the performance.

Following each performance, the shuttle buses will operate 10 minutes after the performance and continuing for 30 minutes.
