Video: Mandy McElhinney on the Magic of Lucy Kirkwood's Mosquitoes

Date posted: 2 May 2019Author: STC Production: Mosquitoes

Watch Mandy’s palpable excitement as she speaks about Mosquitoes, another stellar play from Lucy Kirkwood which gave Mandy tingles from the very first page.

In STC's production, running now at Sydney Opera House Drama Theatre under the expert directorship of STC Resident Director Jessica Arthur, Mandy plays the charismatic Jenny. Jenny is prone to blunt statements and regrettable decisions, but has plenty of heart and self-depricating humour, which Mandy delivers with her usual flair.

A thrilling emotional ride with plenty of laughs along the way, Mosquitoes beautifully weaves together an intimate family story with big questions about the universe and our very existence.
