Portside Sydney offers modern Australian cuisine with outdoor dining under the sails of Sydney Opera House and features special interval dining packages for Sydney Theatre Company guests in their casual indoor dining area. Bennelong offers a formal dining experience with pre- and post-theatre menus available seven nights a week.
Located in the Western Foyers of Sydney Opera House near the Drama Theatre and The Studio, Portside offers casual dining with views across to Circular Quay and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Offering an à la carte menu using fresh seasonal produce, Portside is a great option to relax harbour side before your show. Indulge in roast lamb rump with spiced pastie and goat's curd, graze on warm truffled leek tart with pickled cucumber, enjoy a vanilla bean panna cotta with meringue and strawberry jam ice cream dessert or just pop in for a coffee and treat.

Portside has designed two and three course pre-theatre packages to ensure you will get to your show on time.

If you’re looking for a quick option, head to the Studio Bar in the Western Foyer where you can purchase a selection of take away items including sushi, wraps, salads and drinks.

Bennelong serves to celebrate the Sydney Opera House and its extraordinary architecture by offering a culturally significant and inspiring menu curated by head chef Peter Gilmore.
Named Best New Restaurant in the 2015 Good Food Guide and awarded two hats for three consecutive years, Bennelong offers a range of dining options.
Peter Gilmore describes the philosophy at Bennelong: “The menu is very much crafted in partnership with the farmers, fishermen, breeders and providores from across the land with whom our chefs work together with every day. We’ve made sure the dining experience at Bennelong is accessible and flexible. Our cooking is not overly technical and tricky – it’s robust and direct – allowing the pure flavours of the ingredients to sing.”
