We’re thrilled to welcome you behind the scenes of the country’s largest theatre company.
Our Backstage Tour is a uniquely interactive experience, where you'll get hands-on insight into our vision as a theatre company, and the evolution of plays from page to stage. Come behind the curtain to investigate all aspects of the production process, from programming and design presentations, to set, scenic art, props and costume creation, then enjoy a drink and iconic harbour views at The Wharf Restaurant and Bar.
For 2026, we now offer new pre-show tour times on selected Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Please note: These tours are designed for patrons attending the performances after the tour, so may not include visiting the theatre spaces.
Present your ticket at The Wharf Restaurant and Bar to enjoy either:
Morning tea: Coffee/tea & muffin
Afternoon drink: glass of bubbles/wine/beer or soft drink.
