About THE WHARF Theatres
The Wharf is Sydney Theatre Company's home base located in Walsh Bay. Alongside our administrative and creative areas, we have two theatres in which we present our work — Wharf 1 Theatre and Wharf 2 Theatre. Visitors to The Wharf can also soak in the sweeping views of Sydney Harbour at The Theatre Bar at the End of the Wharf.

A FULLY FLEXIBLE THEATRE SPACE
When STC’s founding Artistic Director Richard Wherrett first envisioned a performance space at The Wharf, he planned a theatre that could shift seating to accommodate the creative needs of all productions, a theatre that was fully flexible. Now, after our recent refurbishments, we have finally realised that vision.
SEATING MAPS
Wharf 1 Theatre is our main theatre space at The Wharf, seating up to 420 people.
Wharf 2 Theatre is an intimate theatre space, seating 160 people.
