SPOTLIGHT TALKS: STRONG IS THE NEW PRETTY

Hosted by Sarah Macdonald, this Talk will explore the creation of AFLW and the broader impact of sport on Australian culture. Featuring inaugural GWS AFLW captain Amanda Farrugia, director Sarah Giles and sports journalist Tracey Holmes, the conversation will examine the people who challenged long-held assumptions, expanded opportunities and helped transform one of Australia's most influential sporting institutions. Inspired by Strong is the New Pretty, the panel will explore how change in sport can influence wider society, asking what these shifts reveal about leadership, representation and the long road to meaningful cultural change.
