
Eric Jiang
Eric Jiang is a queer Chinese-Australian poet, playwright and artist based on Gadigal land. His poetry has been published in Cordite, Liminal, Australian Poetry Journal, Going Down Swinging and more. Eric's plays Rhomboid and ORIGIN STORY have been performed on independent theatre stages, and his newest play lacuna will be presented at the Belvoir Downstairs Theatre in August 2026 as part of Griffin Theatre Company's Lookout program. He has contributed video work and exhibition texts to The Waiting Room Project, participated in Queer Development Program as facilitated by Performance Space, and undertaken Critics Campus as facilitated by Melbourne International Film Festival. Eric's work considers and complicates queer futures, celebrates transformative and intense non-romantic relationships, critiques the ongoing project of Asian representation, and explores the limits of language.
